Job summary

Electronics Mart India is seeking a seasoned Category Manager to drive HA & SA categories, enhance assortment, pricing, placement, and visibility across stores in India. You will lead initiatives to grow sales, margins, and overall category growth with strong analytics and negotiation skills.

The role requires managing brand relationships, promotional planning, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, supply chain, and store teams to achieve targets and optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management or sales, preferably in HA & SA or consumer durables.
• Strong understanding of LFR and regional retail formats.
• Knowledge of home and small appliances categories.
• Solid analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to drive sales, profitability, and category growth.

Responsibilities

• Category Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, margins, and overall growth of HA & SA categories.
• Sales Target Achievement: Set category targets, monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Brand Management: Manage brand relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and drive brand‑wise sales performance.
• Product & SKU Management: Ensure optimal assortment, pricing, availability, placement, and visibility of products.
• Business Development: Identify new opportunities and strategies to increase category growth across stores.
• Promoter Management: Monitor promoter productivity, conduct training, and drive performance improvement.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, replenishment, ageing inventory, and timely liquidation of EOL products.
• MIS & Analytics: Track sales, margins, category performance, and market trends through regular reports and dashboards.
