Job summary

Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer, seeks a seasoned Quality professional to drive continuous improvements in mechanical proprietary parts quality based on customer feedback and field data.

You will lead PFMEA reviews, field issue analysis, and ECN-driven quality upgrades across new technology parts, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders for sustained quality gains.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Engineering with ~10 years of automotive quality experience.
• Experience improving mechanical proprietary parts quality using customer feedback.
• Familiarity with ECN workflow, PLM, and SAP processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional issue analysis and ECN resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous quality improvements for proprietary parts based on feedback.
• Conduct field warranty analysis and PFMEA reviews.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for issue closure and ECN approvals.
• Benchmark designs and processes against in-house and competitor products.

• Continuous Product / Mechanical Proprietary parts Quality improvement on the basis of customer feedback
• Market Quality Surveys , Field returned Warranty & Paid Part field failure parts analysis and their field failure reduction

A purpose driven role for you

• Reduction in Warranty Claims & Cost of Mechanical Proprietary Parts like Engine Proprietary, Braking, Suspension, etc.
• Mechanical Prop. Parts PFMEA Review & Quality upgrade
• Design and process Benchmarking (for both in-house products and competitor products) for Improvement
• Resolution of Critical field issues pertaining to New Technology of Mechanical Proprietary parts

A Day in the life

• Upcoming New Technology
• On The Spot Trouble Shooting without adequate infrastructure at field.
• Makers Proprietary parts technical knowhow /DFMEA
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for Issue analysis & closure, Maker engagement & ECN approvals, ECN implementation, Problem establishment & Provide issue closure, Base model issue, Leadership Reviews, Policy Deployment, Best Practices Deployment.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders for Problem analysis & action, Customer Feedback capturing, Field Issue Countermeasure Information sharing. Online Survey Design, Questionnaire alignment.

Academic Qualification & Experience
