The candidate will coordinate with clinical teams to resolve denials and ensure compliance with pricing policies and insurance contracts, while leading billing staff for timely patient service and discharge approvals.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5+ years of experience in hospital administration or medical billing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and patient billing workflows.

• Oversee cashless desk, insurance desks, and medical billing for empanelled TPAs, corporate schemes, and government packages.
• Ensure timely submission of pre-authorization, initial estimates, enhancement requests, and discharge approvals.
• Handle claim queries, short payments, rejections, or denials in coordination with clinical and medical records teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate houses.
• Ensure compliance with hospital pricing policies, package rates, and regulatory standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Operations Oversight: Manage the cashless desk, insurance desks, and medical billing operations for all empanelled TPAs, corporate schemes, and government health packages.
• Pre-Authorization & Approvals: Oversee timely submission of pre-authorization forms, initial estimates, enhancement requests, and final discharge approvals.
• Denial & Query Management: Handle claim queries, short payments, rejections, or denials from insurers by coordinating with clinical and medical record teams.
• Liaison & Networking: Build and maintain professional relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate houses.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure complete alignment with hospital pricing policies, package rates, regulatory standards, and individual insurance contract terms.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise TPA executives, billing staff, and front-desk helpers to ensure patient satisfaction and low turnaround times.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 5+ years of experience.
