Job summary

Ameriprise India LLP seeks a finance operations professional to ensure timely cash reconciliation and reporting for portfolio management teams. Responsibilities include Aladdin reconciliations, cash posting, and SLA-driven reporting.

You will interact with Portfolio Managers and Assistants, perform tools-based analysis, and support cross-functional teams. Hybrid in-office work with some flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience Finance / Accounting qualification.
• Knowledge of Investment tools (like Bloomberg, IDS, Frontier, Aladdin)
• Good communication skills (written / oral), interpersonal skills and be an effective team player.
• Sound analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams and work across other operational locations.
• Proficiency in MS Office – specifically Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge on Power BI, SQL, Python will be advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and cash posting on Aladdin.
• This involves reconciling custodian and accounting records to the Aladdin application.
• Publish cash reports on Aladdin for Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants by agreed upon SLAs.
• Monitor and notify Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants of overdraft notifications and resolution.
• Ensure all reports are sent out within SLA and accurately.
• Work with Portfolio Management teams to resolve any actual and projected cash related questions.
• Research and resolve reconciliation differences between custodian, accounting and the Aladdin application to meet KPI standards.

Job Description Purpose is to ensure timely and accurate cash reconciliation and reporting for the Portfolio management teams. This position will also interact with Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants to provide overdraft monitoring and notification to these teams. As part of the broader Global Investment Operations Department, the job incumbent will be expected, over time, to cross train and be multi-skilled in a variety of functions covering Trade Management (including Share Class Hedging processes) and Derivatives so as provide broader operational support during peak periods.
