Job summary

Ameriprise India LLP is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage cash reconciliations and postings on Aladdin. You will publish timely cash reports for Portfolio Managers, monitor overdraft notifications, and ensure all outputs meet SLA standards.

The role requires 1-3 years of finance experience, solid analytical skills, and knowledge of investment tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a hybrid in-office work model are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting.
• Finance/Accounting qualification.
• Strong analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of investment tools (Bloomberg/IDS/Aladdin) is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and cash postings on Aladdin.
• Publish cash reports on Aladdin for Portfolio Managers and Assistants by SLA.
• Monitor overdraft notifications and resolutions.
• Ensure all reports are sent within SLA and accurately.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management teams to answer cash-related questions.
• Research and resolve reconciliation differences between custodian, accounting and Aladdin.

This position will also interact with Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants to provide overdraft monitoring and notification to these teams. As part of the broader Global Investment Operations Department, the job incumbent will be expected, over time, to cross train and be multi-skilled in a variety of functions covering Trade Management (including Share Class Hedging processes) and Derivatives so as provide broader operational support during peak periods.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform reconciliations and cash posting on Aladdin. This involves reconciling custodian and accounting records to the Aladdin application.Publish cash reports on Aladdin for Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants by agreed upon SLAs.Monitor and notify Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants of overdraft notifications and resolution.Ensure all reports are sent out within SLA and accuratelyWork with Portfolio Management teams to resolve any actual and projected cash related questions.Research and resolve reconciliation differences between custodian, accounting and the Aladdin application to meet KPI standards.Required Qualifications1-3 years of relevant experienceFinance / Accounting qualification.Good analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling.Knowledge of Investment tools (like Bloomberg, IDS, Frontier, Aladdin)Good communication skills (written / oral), interpersonal skills and be an effective team player.Sound analytical skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams and work across other operational locations.Proficiency in MS Office – specifically Advanced Excel.Knowledge on Power BI, SQL, Python will be advantage.Preferred QualificationsGraduation-B.com/BBAMBA-Finance/operationIn-Office CollaborationWe are a client-centric, relationship-based business.
