Job summary

Tekskills in Pune is seeking a mainframe developer to design, code, and maintain batch and online programs using COBOL, CICS, JCL and DB2. You will create and update CICS screens, handle batch jobs, and support production environments.

You will work in cross-functional teams, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to modernization by integrating mainframe services with REST/SOAP when required. Experience with Git, Jenkins and IDz is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe-based development and production support.
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL and DB2 is required.
• Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling tools.
• Ability to debug abends and resolve production issues.
• Familiarity with testing (unit, system, UAT) and documentation.
