Job summary

Tekskills in India is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Developer with strong experience in Mainframe FOCUS, COBOL, DB2 and JCL to join our team. You will work on writing COBOL programs, JCL and mainframe utilities, and contribute to complex batch and online processing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of DFSORT, ICETOOL, ICEMAN, SQL on DB2, debugging COBOL programs, file handling, and a practical grasp of DevOps tools like IDz, Jenkins and GitHub.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in mainframe development
• Experience in writing new COBOL programs and JCLs & Focus
• Good knowledge on DB2 and writing SQL queries
• Good knowledge on JCL utilities like SORT, DFSORT, ICETOOL & ICEMAN
• Good in debugging skills and has good understanding of COBOL programs, file handling, DB2 tables
