Job summary

ETASHA Society is seeking a Career Guide to join its Adolescent Wellbeing and Success program in South Delhi. The role involves facilitating Career Highway workshops, enabling students to access the digitized career guidance portal, and guiding them through a structured career exploration process.

You will coordinate with schools, manage digital devices, maintain accurate student data and reports, and document programme outcomes for monitoring, evaluation and donor reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct structured workshops for adolescents.
• Proficiency in working with computers and mobiles, including basic hardware/software issues.
• Ability to read and comprehend content about diverse careers.
• High level of communication skills in both Hindi and English.
• Willing to travel across Delhi NCR and occasionally to other cities.
• Flexible to travel early in the morning for school sessions.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the digitized career guidance app, including user registration and profile setup.
• Conduct workshops through a digital device and provide personalized guidance to students.
• Resolve minor technical issues to ensure seamless user experience.
• Coordinate with schools for scheduling and ensuring classrooms and resources.
• Maintain accurate data records and documentation for reports.
• Compile and analyze program data for donor reporting and outcomes.

Organization Overview

ETASHA Society is looking for a Career Guide to join its Adolescent Wellbeing and Success (AWS) Program. The Career Guide will play a key role in delivering ETASHA's digitized Career Highway intervention to high school students across the country.

About the Role

The role involves facilitating Career Highway workshops, enabling students to access the digitized career guidance portal through digital devices, and guiding them through a structured career exploration process. The Career Guide will support students in understanding the content while ensuring a smooth workshop experience by addressing queries and resolving basic technical issues. In addition to workshop facilitation, the Career Guide will coordinate with schools, manage digital devices, maintain accurate student data and reports, and document programme outcomes and success stories to support monitoring, evaluation, and funder reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conducting Career Guidance Workshops
   1. Manage the operations of the digitized career guidance app, including user registration and profile setup
   2. Conduct the Workshop through a digital device
   3. Provide personalized guidance to students as they navigate the career guidance process. Assist them in understanding the detailed content.
   4. Resolve minor technical issues on the digital devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
2. Responsibility for Safety and Maintenance of Digital Devices
   1. Regularly updating software, maintaining security protocols, and troubleshooting hardware issues as needed.
   2. Collaborating with the IT team to address any technical concerns promptly to minimize downtime of the devices.
3. Coordinating with schools for the following
   1. Coordinate with designated spoke-persons to schedule Workshops & Sessions.
   2. Ensure the availability of classrooms, digital infrastructure, and other resources required for conducting sessions.
   3. Ensuring availability of relevant teaching-learning material, stationery etc.
4. Documentation & Reporting Management
   1. Maintain accurate data records and documentation
   2. Compile and analyse program data for internal reviews and donor reporting.
   3. Compile periodic reports on program implementation, counselling outcomes, and key achievements.
   4. Collect success stories, case studies, and workshop documentation for reporting.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to conduct structured workshops / classes with adolescents.
• Proficiency in working with Computers and Mobiles including resolving simple hardware and software issues.
• Ability to read and comprehend content about diverse careers
• High level of communication skills in both Hindi and English
• Willing to travel frequently across Delhi NCR and occasionally to other cities.
• Flexible to occasionally travel early in the morning for school sessions.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts.
• Certificate in Computer Skills
• Prior experience of working with government schools or non-profit organizations will be an advantage.

The salary will range between Rs.22,000/ – Rs.25,000/- per month CTC, depending upon skills and experience.
