Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes through accurate diagnosis, advanced treatment plans, and continuous patient education.

This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in clinical cardiology, who is passionate about providing exceptional cardiac care and staying updated with the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and congenital heart defects.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and cardiac catheterization.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans and recommend lifestyle modifications to improve patient heart health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including internists, cardiac surgeons, and rehabilitation specialists to provide integrated care.
  • Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute cardiac conditions such as myocardial infarction or cardiac arrest.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Stay informed about recent developments, best practices, and innovations in cardiology through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Educate patients and families about cardiovascular diseases, treatment options, preventive measures, and medication adherence.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, medical conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: MBBS and MD/DNB in Medicine with DM/DNB in Cardiology (recognized by the Medical Council).
  • Experience: 2-7 years of hands-on experience as a Cardiologist in a reputed hospital or healthcare setup.
  • In-depth knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, diagnostics, and interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Proficiency in using and interpreting results from advanced diagnostic tools such as echocardiograms, stress tests, angiography, and cardiac imaging systems.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure medical scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Up-to-date registration and valid medical license to practice.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in performing or assisting in interventional procedures such as angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, or electrophysiological studies.
  • Familiarity with cardiac rehabilitation programs and preventive cardiology initiatives.
  • Research interest or publications in cardiology-related journals will be an added advantage
