Responsibilities
Perform and manage high-risk interventional procedures including coronary angioplasty with stent placement in acute and chronic coronary syndromes.
Conduct minimally invasive heart valve repair or replacement procedures using transcatheter techniques.
Execute cardiac ablation procedures to treat arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
Implant and manage pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) for patients with conduction disorders.
Perform septal myectomy for patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, requiring advanced surgical and procedural expertise.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac teams, including cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, and imaging specialists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay current with evolving interventional cardiology guidelines, technologies, and best practices through continuous professional development.

Requirements
MBBS degree with MD/DM in Cardiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Interventional Cardiology.

Minimum of 1 year of post-residency clinical experience in interventional cardiology, preferably in a tertiary care or academic medical center.

Hands‑on experience in cardiac ablation for various arrhythmias, including use of 3D mapping systems.
Experience in implantation and follow-up of pacemakers and ICDs, including lead management and device troubleshooting.
Competency in performing septal myectomy, including preoperative planning and intraoperative decision‑making.
Strong understanding of imaging modalities such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and fluoroscopy.
