Canara Bank has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement as Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27.
A total of 3500 training seats are available across various States/UTs. Candidates must first register on the NATS apprenticeship portal and have a 100% complete profile before applying for apprenticeship training in Canara Bank. No other mode of application will be accepted. The online application window is from 01 October 2026 to 17 October 2026, both days inclusive

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 September 1998 and not later than 01 September 2006, both dates inclusive.

Candidates must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
The candidate must have passed graduation not earlier than 01 January 2023 and not later than 01 September 2026, both dates inclusive. :
Candidates who have studied the specified local language of the opted State in their 10th or 12th standard and can provide the relevant marks sheet/certificate will not have to undergo the local-language test.
Other candidates will have to qualify the local-language test during the Document Verification process. Candidates who fail the test will not be engaged as apprentices.
Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to being declared medically fit as per the requirements of Canara Bank.
These conditions are specified in the notification's eligibility and reservation provisions.
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650/-, including the Government of India subsidy, if applicable.
Of this amount, Canara Bank will pay ₹10,500/- per month into the apprentice's account, while the Government share of ₹6,150/- will be credited directly through DBT as per applicable guidelines. :
Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.
Apprentices will not be treated as employees of Canara Bank and will not receive employee benefits applicable to Bank employees. :
The merit list will be prepared State-wise in descending order based on the marks/percentage obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) or Diploma.
If candidates have the same percentage, they will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit list.
