Job summary

Mantras2Success is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage bookkeeping and compliance for Canadian and US clients. You will handle compilation engagements, prepare Canadian tax returns, and ensure GST-related filings are accurate and timely.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of Canadian accounting and taxation, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate with international clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Canadian/US clients or CPA firms.
• Hands-on experience in Canadian accounting and taxation.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping and accounting for Canadian/US clients.
• Prepare and assist with Compilation Engagements (Notice to Reader).
• Prepare and review Canadian tax returns including T1, T2, T3 and T5.
• Handle GST calculations, filings and related compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to obtain required financial information.
• Identify and resolve accounting and tax-related discrepancies.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned client deliverables.
• Work on accounting and tax assignments for CPA firm clients.
