Qualifications

Job description

Key Relationships:

  1. Internal: Collaboration with Product owners and architects from US office
  2. Occasional visits to the US for discussions with product owners
  3. Work closely with an international team in CAD applications development
  4. Collaboration with team members in India
  5. Participate in design and coding activities with other developers and with cross-functional teams.
  6. Work with Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure quality and robustness.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  1. Technical Support: You will effectively meet CAD/CAM technical support needs and communicate solutions to end-users via telephone, e-mail, and the internet.
  2. Training: You will provide training courses for our customers: onsite and over the internet.
  3. Applications Engineering: You will travel to customer manufacturing facilities to install our CAD/CAM software and run test programs on their machines to prove out the software capabilities.
  4. Demonstrations: You will provide technical sales support demonstration and competitive analysis (benchmarking). Deliver demonstrations, both onsite and online, and attend our marketing activities such as tradeshows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  5. Provide technical sales support to help our sales team configure the proper solution for our prospects.
  6. Create and localize content, like videos, presentations, and sample files, to show how our software can improve different manufacturing workflows.
  7. Develop and provide training to our customers and resellers, via web, classroom, or on customer/partner site.
  8. Provide customer support, and report bugs and improvement requests to the software department.
  9. Develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders (customers and colleagues).
  10. Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements.
  11. Develop process improvements to optimize the technical processes.
  12. Train resellers and partners on the most recent version of the software.

Relevant Experience:

  1. Should have at least 3+ years of experience in Application or Customer Service or in our domain (CAD/CAM)
  2. Experience in sheet metal fabrication or steel plate processing, and CNC programming (familiarity with G-code)
  3. 3D Parametric Modeling
  4. CAM programming preferred (3-5 axis machining)
  5. Experience with our software solutions preferred (SigmaNEST)
  6. Proficiency with MS Office
  7. Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred.
  8. Basic domain knowledge of the sheet metal industry.

Skills & Abilities:

  1. Deep technical knowledge of manufacturing
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
  3. SQL database experience is a plus.
  4. Machine understanding should know basics about cutting machines.
  5. CAD / CAM Software Knowledge

Qualifications: Should be a Mechanical Engineer (Degree) from a recognized University/College with minimum aggregate of 60%.

Travel: 50% or more may be required, generally short travels (less than a week).
