Job summary

Luxoft India in Chennai is seeking a Calypso developer with 4+ years experience to join a Java-focused backend team. You will work on Calypso platform, leveraging Java 1.8+ and SQL to integrate with the Calypso database. Strong communication across a geographically dispersed team is expected.

Job description

- 4+ years experience on Calypso as a developer

- Strong hands-on experience in Java development, Java 1.8 and higher

- Good understanding of key concepts in Java like OOPS concept, Collections, Multi-threading, etc.

- Strong drive for Continuous learning and improvement

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a geographically dispersed team

- Ability to write SQL queries and understand Calypso database tables

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

- Basic understanding of UNIX servers and commands

- Understanding of back office processes like SWIFT messages, Settlements, CREs, Accounting etc.

- Experience on Calypso's matching module

- Understanding of FX and MM products

- Experience of tools like Maven, Azure DevOps, gradle
