Electromech Material Handling Systems is seeking a drafting engineer to convert concepts into detailed manufacturing drawings for material handling equipment. You will produce 2D and GA drawings, BOMs, and 3D models using CAD software, ensuring compliance with design standards and manufacturing requirements.

You will collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers and Production teams to resolve drawing queries and maintain accurate revision histories, delivering drawings on schedule.

Formación

• Knowledge of drafting standards and GD&T concepts.
• Ability to convert concepts into detailed drawings for manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating with design and production teams.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings for material handling equipment.
• Develop 3D models and layouts using CAD software based on design inputs and engineering specifications.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and BOM.
• Convert conceptual designs and engineering calculations into detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with approved design standards, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Design Engineers to incorporate design changes and revisions.
• Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, fitment, clearances, and manufacturability.
• Support Production, Quality, and Project teams by resolving drawing-related queries.
• Maintain drawing records, revision history, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of drawings as per project schedules.
