Job summary

Axium Global is a UK-based MEP and architectural design provider with a Mumbai center, delivering BIM ITES services to international clients. The CAD Designer will work on architectural drafting and documentation for diverse sectors including Commercial, Residential, Hospitality and Healthcare.

The candidate will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring drawings meet project standards and client design intent while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit with strong design principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
• Develop comprehensive architectural documentation and drawing packages from design through construction.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including joinery details, wall sections, schedules and construction details per project requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate design integration.
• Review drawings and update them based on design revisions, site requirements, inputs, and changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and applicable codes.
• Assist in project coordination, drawing reviews, and construction-related support.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality drawings within project timelines.

Job Description

The team consists of skilled professionals, including architects, 3D visualisers, interior designers and CAD professionals with varied experience. The CAD Designer - Architecture design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects.

The candidate will work independently on architectural drafting and documentation for international clients across Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Healthcare, Retail and Institutional sectors.

Key Roles andResponsibilities:

• Prepare detailedarchitectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections,working drawings, construction drawings and Good for Construction (GFC)drawings based on approved designs provided by clients or consultants.
• Develop comprehensivearchitectural documentation and drawing packages from design developmentthrough construction and execution stages.
• Produce detailedarchitectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections,joinery details, wall sections, schedules and construction details inaccordance with project requirements and approved design intent.
• Coordinate withstructural, MEP and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate integrationof design information and smooth project execution.
• Review and updatedrawings based on design revisions, site requirements, consultant inputs,client feedback and project changes.
• Ensure all drawingscomply with project standards, client requirements, applicable buildingcodes and industry best practices.
• Assist in projectcoordination, drawing reviews, technical documentation andconstruction related support as required
• Deliveraccurate, high-quality drawings and documentation within project timelineswhile maintaining a high level of attention to detail

Qualification and ExperienceRequired:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or a related field
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) and a strong understanding of design principles
  

Compensation
