Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in CAD design for jewelry.
• Proficiency in Rhino and MatrixGold/Matrix is mandatory; JewelCAD is an added advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail to deliver production-ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D jewelry designs using Rhino, MatrixGold/Matrix and JewelCAD.
• Develop accurate 3D models from sketches and design briefs.
• Revise 3D models based on feedback from Team Lead and stakeholders.
• Check and validate 3D models before prototyping for accuracy and standards.
• Collaborate with Design Team to gather information for drawings.
• Communicate progress and challenges with Team Leads.
• Maintain organized records of all designs in the database.
• Meet project timelines and budget constraints while ensuring quality.
• Stay updated with CAD design trends and jewelry manufacturing techniques.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Executive CAD Designer proficient in Rhino & MatrixGold / Matrix. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming conceptual sketches into detailed, production-ready CAD designs and will support the Head of CAD in creating designs that meet both customer and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software including Rhino, MatrixGold/Matrix & JewelCAD to create detailed 2D and 3D designs.
• Develop accurate 3D models from conceptual sketches and design briefs.
• Make corrections and revisions to 3D models based on feedback from Team Lead and other stakeholders.
• Thoroughly check and validate 3D models before prototyping to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Team to gather relevant information and technical inputs for drawings.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leads regarding progress, delays, and potential challenges.
• Maintain a comprehensive and organized record of all designs in the database.
• Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints while ensuring high-quality output.
• Stay updated with the latest developments, trends, and technologies in CAD design and jewellery manufacturing.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Rhino, MatrixGold / Matrix is mandatory. Knowledge of JewelCAD is an added advantage.
