Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) invites applications for an Intern - Finance Operations. The role focuses on preparing financial reports per IFRS/Finrep/GSIB/BoE and ensuring timely BAU activities while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will review reports, coordinate with in-country teams, and support process improvements. The ideal candidate has CA articleship completed, strong MS Office (especially Excel), and solid analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• CA articleship completed with training.
• Strong MS Excel proficiency essential.
• Ability to understand, analyse and interpret numeric data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Banking/financial services experience is an advantage.
• Understanding of IFRS.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel; MS Access and Macros preferred.
• Willing to stretch as per process requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports per IFRS/Finrep/GSIB/BoE requirements.
• Meet defined SLAs and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure all BAU activities are completed timely and accurately.
• Review and analyse reports before submission to in-country team.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with teams across locations.
• Ensure adherence to controls in BAU processes and keep EUCs/SOPs updated.
• Be a team player in supporting OA activities where applicable.
• Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Intern - Finance Operations Business: Finance

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for preparing financial reports as per requirement of IFRS / Finrep / GSIB / BoE
• Responsible for meeting the defined SLAs and managing good relationship with the customer
• Ensuring all the BAU activities are done timely and accurately
• Review and analysis of reports before submission to in-country team
• Co-ordinate & effectively communicate with other teams in diverse locations across in-country / GFC.
• Ensuring adherence to control in BAU process and keeping EUCs / SOPs updated.
• Be a team player in supporting any other OA activities, wherever applicable.
• Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency.

To be successful you will:

• Cleared 2 group of CA with article ship training.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
• Capability to understand, analyse and interpret numeric data.
• Excellent Communication and Inter person skills Both verbal and written PUBLIC
• Past experience of working in Banking/Financial services organization of repute will be an advantage.
• Understanding of international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel and knowledge of MS Access (Visual basics) and Macros are preferred
• Willing to stretch as per the process requirements.
