Job summary

DMART invites a qualified CA fresher for the Manager Internal Audit role at Hiranandani Estate, Thane. You will lead risk-based audits across finance, procurement, IT and controls, reporting findings to management.

Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills, SAP and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities in a corporate office setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with good academic record and fresh entry (Fresher / 4–6 months experience).
• Experience in internal auditing or related controls review is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan covering finance, operations and compliance.
• Audit planning, execution, documentation and reporting of findings.
• Review procurement processes including planning, rates, contracts and vendor ledgers.
• Evaluate INDAS applicability, MSME audits, related party transactions and IT expenses.
• Monitor corrective actions and conduct follow-up audits to ensure sustainability.

Qualification/ Experience:

• Experience in Internal auditing
• Qualified CA with good academic record (Fresher / 4 to 6 months experience)

Location:

Hiranandani Estate, Thane (DMART Corporate Office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit Planning and Execution:

  Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan to assess operational, financial, and compliance risks within the company. Perform audits of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance with laws and regulations.

• Procurement audit:

  Review of procurement process including planning, rates, agreement review, vendor ledger review, inventory analysis etc.

• Corporate Auditing:

  Review INDAS applicability, MSME audit, Related party audit, Information Technology expenses audit, Fixed Asset Audit & Vendor Ledger & General Ledger Scrutiny etc.

• Control Evaluation:

  Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in P2P, and other corporate functions for improvement. Make recommendations to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize processes.

• Follow-Up on Audit Findings:

  Monitor the implementation of corrective actions based on audit recommendations. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure issues are resolved and improvements are sustained.
