As a CA/CS/CMA Qualified, Semi-Qualified or Article Required OR Experienced in Internal Audit or Finance, your responsibilities will include preparing reports, budgeting, and taxation. This role also includes analyzing accounts and business plans, providing financial advice, and dealing with insolvency cases.
Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Company Secretary (CS)/ CMA or Semi Qualified or Article required. Dropouts/ candidates not pursuing these exams will be more preferred.
Role & responsibilities
- Perform pre-audit reviews of financial transactions, records, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Review and analyze financial data, identify discrepancies or potential risks, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards, principles, and internal policies.
- Support budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and audit-related activities as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies, clarify financial information, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain strong documentation and audit trails for financial transactions and pre-audit reviews.
- Stay updated on changes in taxation, accounting standards, audit requirements, and relevant regulatory practices.
- Utilize financial/accounting software and systems effectively to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver accurate work within tight deadlines and under pressure.
Preferred candidate profile
- CA, CMA or CS Qualified / Semi Qualified, Article, Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting, analysis, taxation, budgeting, or auditing.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, taxation, and audit processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial information and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial/accounting software and MS Office, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
