Job summary

Astrome Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an embedded systems engineer with strong C++ and Linux experience to work on hardware-software co-design. You'll tackle design, development and implementation of programs and processes that make complex systems operate reliably.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with embedded devices, RTOS, device drivers, and memory-mapped I/O, plus debugging, testing and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in ECE/EE required.
• 2+ years of C++ and Linux programming experience.
• Hands-on with embedded devices and hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's in ECE,/EE Strong knowledge and 2 years of experience in C++ programming (not just C) Hands on experience in Linux programming.
• Hands on experience in an embedded device Desired: Hands-on experience with network/wireless product Hands-on experience in Python Hands-on experience in I2C, SPI, UART and such serial communication protocols
• Hands-on experience in device drivers and board bring-up in Linux and FreeRTOS.
• Experience in memory mapped devices in Linux and RTOS environments.
• Experience in PHY/MAC layer drivers for Linux.
• Experience in automated testing.
