Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced embedded C/C++ engineer to work on security‑oriented system software. You will contribute to Android security features, Linux internals, and cryptographic capabilities within a dynamic engineering team.

You will join an Agile/SAFe environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and test secure solutions across embedded networking stacks, certificates, and secure boot.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong C/C++ in embedded or system software.
• Experience with Android security stack (Framework, HAL, SELinux, Keystore).
• Solid Linux internals and security knowledge.
• Exposure to cryptography, certificates, and secure boot.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded C/C++ for security‑driven system software.
• Contribute to Android security features (Framework, HAL, SELinux, Keymaster).
• Work on Linux internals, services, and system calls with a security focus.
• Implement security stack components (TEE, secure app development).
• Handle cryptography aspects (OpenSSL, key management, certificates).

Job Description

• Strong C/C++ programming experience in embedded or system software
• Solid experience with Android platform security, including:
• Android Framework and HAL (AIDL based) development
• SELinux policy design and adaptations
• Android Keystore / Keymaster concepts
• Strong Linux system and security knowledge (internals, services, system calls)
• Expertise in security stack development, including:
• Trusted Execution Environment (GP TEE)
• Trusted / secure application development
• Hands on experience with cryptography and secure systems:
• OpenSSL, certificates, key management, secure boot
• Symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms
• Strong background in network security, including:
• Embedded TCP/IP stack
• Firewall and gateway design and implementation
• IPv4/IPv6 and Ethernet concepts
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jira)
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
