Job summary

Xoriant is seeking an experienced technical leader to own the delivery of enterprise-grade Windows desktop applications using C# and WPF. You will mentor engineers, influence architecture with MVVM and design patterns, and drive AI adoption across teams in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, design, implement, test, and release high-quality software, while pushing modernization efforts and ensuring delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 9–14 years of experience in software development.
• Proven track record in Windows desktop app development using C# and WPF.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with MVVM and data binding in WPF.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive team maturity.
• Experience with graphics programming (DirectX/OpenGL) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban).

• Team Leadership – Mentors and coaches engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical guidance, raising overall team engineering maturity.

Key skills you will require

• Develop, maintain and enhance Windows desktop applications using C# and WPF.
• Knowledge of AI is must. The person should know, used, and preferably created agents for coding. Just vibe coding would not be sufficient.
• Own delivery of features, modules, and technical outcomes within a defined engineering area.

Qualifications You Must Require

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related field, with 09 -14 years of experience.
• Proven experience in developing Windows desktop applications using C# and WPF.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented-programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with MVVM architecture and data binding in WPF.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git and Agile methodologie
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with graphics programming like DirectX or OpenGL would be plus.
• Experience working in an agile environment (SCRUM, Kanban, etc)
• Working knowledge of development toolchain i.e. Visual Studio, Git, Jira, Bitbucket, etc.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive team-level engineering maturity.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities across cross-functional engineering environments.
• Ability to drive AI adoption across teams by identifying high-impact use cases and enabling responsible usage.
• Understanding of Agentic AI design for developer assistance, MCP concepts, multi-agent system design patterns, and responsible AI practices within software engineering workflows.
