Job summary

Sonata Software in Hyderabad is seeking a backend engineer to build, operate, and maintain backend services using C#/.NET on Azure. You will design agentic loops to automate developer and DevOps tasks, reducing operational overhead across the platform.

You will own security improvements, compliance remediation, and ongoing platform maintenance, monitor governance signals, and perform durable production deployments while troubleshooting live sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and operating backend services on Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET in cloud environments.
• Experience owning security, compliance, and reliability work for production systems.
• Experience operating services end-to-end, including deployment and live-site support.
• Familiarity with ARM templates or similar infrastructure-as-code approaches.

Ideal Background of the Candidate
3-6 years of experience building and operating backend services on Azure.

Familiarity with ARM templates or similar infrastructure-as-code approaches.

Must-Have Skills
3+ years of experience in:
C#/.NET backend development
PowerShell or scripting for automation
Strong knowledge of Azure services used for compute, monitoring, security, and compliance.
Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Ev2.
Proven ability to reduce operational toil through automation, tooling, and intelligent workflows.
