Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru seeks a skilled C++ middleware engineer to design, develop and maintain IVI middleware components for automotive infotainment systems. You will work on Linux-based development, IPC, and Modern C++ within an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable software.

You will participate in architecture reviews, build and release processes, and rigorous testing to ensure high-quality deliveries across distributed teams and platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong C++14/17 in Linux environments.
• Experience with middleware services and IVI systems.
• Hands-on with IPC, MQTT, HTTP and CommonAPI.
• Agile Scrum experience using Jira/Confluence.
• Unit testing and TDD experience.

Your Role

Your Profile

• Strong programming expertise in Modern C++ (C++14/C++17 or above).
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based development, build systems, deployment, and debugging.
• Strong experience in IPC mechanisms, MQTT, HTTP, and CommonAPI frameworks.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in developing and maintaining middleware services and framework components.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Infotainment (IVI) system architecture.
• Understanding of UML modeling and software design methodologies.
• Experience with software version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and module testing.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
