Job summary

HMS Networks in Pune, India seeks a Senior Software Engineer (C++) with 5-10 years of experience to join the Industrial Automation team. You will design and develop protocol stacks, edge gateway components, and scalable multi-threaded applications for PLCs, RTUs, sensors, and industrial devices.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Modern C++ (C++14/17/20).
• Strong experience with Linux / Embedded Linux development (Mandatory).
• Strong understanding of Networking.
• Expertise in Multi-threading, Concurrency, Synchronization, and IPC.
• Experience with CMake, Make, and Cross Compilation.
• Good understanding of software design principles and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial communication protocol stacks using Modern C++ (C++14/17/20).
• Develop edge gateway components to communicate with PLCs, RTUs, sensors, and industrial devices.
