Job summary

Freelancer is seeking a C++ Technical Lead with 6–10 years of experience in systems-level software to drive high-performance, low-latency applications. The candidate should be hands-on with C++ and STL, multithreading, and memory management.

You will mentor teams, lead technical design, code reviews, and optimize data structures and MySQL-based designs. Fintech exposure is a plus; Mumbai-based location preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant production-level systems software development experience.
• Exposure to fintech, financial engineering, trading, asset management, or related low-latency systems is an advantage.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentor engineering teams.

We are looking for a C++ Technical Lead with 610 years of experience in systems-level software development and strong hands-on expertise in high-performance, low-latency applications.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Expert in C++ and STL, including pointers, memory management, RAII, templates, and advanced C++ concepts.
• Strong experience with multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and lock-free programming.
• Good understanding of low-latency systems, CPU cache, memory mapping (mmap), and branch prediction.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, time/space complexity, MySQL, database design, and indexing.
• Experience with compile-time/template-driven frameworks or HTL concepts.
• Lead technical design, development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentor engineering teams.
• Experience as a Team Lead for 2+ years is required.
