Job summary

Greeksoft Technologies is seeking a C++ developer in Gandhinagar to write and maintain features using modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or later). You will ensure clean, readable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

The role requires understanding OOP concepts, STL, and memory management, plus experience with Git, CMake/Make, and basic data structures. 2-5 years in finance domain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or later).
• Understanding of OOP concepts and STL.
• Experience with MySQL or relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of build systems such as CMake/Make.
• Exposure to data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, readable, and maintainable C++ code following standards.
• Develop features and fix bugs in existing modules.
• Debug and troubleshoot runtime/compile-time errors using appropriate tools.
• Understand memory management, pointers and references.

Role & responsibilities :

1. Writing & Maintaining C++ Code

Develop features using modern C++ (C++11/14/17 or later)

Write clean, readable, and maintainable code

Follow coding standards and best practices

Fix bugs and improve existing code

2. Understanding/Application of OOPS concepts & STL

3. Debugging & Troubleshooting

Identify and fix runtime/compile-time errors

Use debugging tools (e.g., GDB)

Handle memory leaks and segmentation faults

Understand pointers, references, memory management

4. Version Control using Git

5. Build Systems & Tools

Work with build tools like:

CMake / Make

Understand compilation and linking process

6. Basic Data Structures & Algorithms

Arrays, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues

Time & Space complexity (Big-O)

7. Unit Testing - Perform basic unit testing .
