Job summary

Infosys is seeking a C Sharp Testing Consultant to design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation and API testing across Azure/AWS hosted applications. The role requires 5+ years in software testing with a strong automation focus and hands-on C#/.NET experience.

You will implement end-to-end test strategies using Selenium, SpecFlow, Playwright, and tools like Postman, NUnit/xUnit, and Azure DevOps/Jenkins.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation suites using Selenium with C#/.NET aligned to product risk and release goals.
• Create and maintain automated UI and API test scripts to validate end-to-end workflows, service behavior, and integrations.
• Implement and execute automated API tests to validate service contracts, data integrity, and error handling.
• Perform functional testing across .NET/C# applications, combining manual and automation approaches to ensure complete coverage.
• Plan testing activities by identifying test scope, required test environments, resources, tools, and dependencies; provide estimates and timelines.
• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Execute and validate automated test suites for application solutions hosted in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, ensuring environment readiness and cloud-specific considerations are addressed.
• Leverage strong SQL/PL SQL skills to validate data integrity, create/execute queries for test verification, and support test data setup/cleanup.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defects; ensure artifacts are current and audit-ready.
• Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders; proactively communicate risks, blockers, and recommendations with a self-driven ownership mindset.
