Job summary

Trigent Software in India seeks an experienced Senior C++ Application Maintenance Engineer to maintain and enhance enterprise applications built with C/C++. You will diagnose production issues in Linux, design secure, high-quality code, and implement SOAP/REST integrations while collaborating with IAM and security teams.

You will support CI/CD pipelines, automated builds and deployments, participate in Agile ceremonies, mentor junior engineers, and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on C/C++ development and maintenance.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Experience building and consuming SOAP/REST services.
• CI/CD implementation and automated deployments.
• Knowledge of secure coding and IAM concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, troubleshoot, and enhance business-critical enterprise applications in C/C++.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues in Linux environments to ensure high availability and stability.
• Design secure, high-quality code and integrate SOAP/REST web services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and application deployments.
• Partner with IAM and application security teams to implement secure architectural solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, conduct peer code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Technical Expertise

• Core Development: 8+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++ development and application maintenance.
• Operating System: Advanced proficiency in Linux environments and troubleshooting tools.
