Job summary

Kairos Technologies is seeking a Camera C++ Developer to join our automotive infotainment team in India (Bangalore/Kochi). You will contribute to camera driver stacks and Android camera integration for cockpit systems.

Candidates should have 5–7 years hands-on C++ experience, strong knowledge of Camera HAL, Android framework, multithreading, memory management, and unit testing with Google Test. Familiarity with Git and CMake is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years hands-on experience in Infotainment/Cockpit Android Camera Development for automotive systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14+) and STL.
• Hands-on experience with Camera HAL development and Android Camera Framework.
• Experience with Android Camera SuspendToRam.
• Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Familiarity with multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization in C++.
• Experience with Git, CMake/Makefiles, and Google Test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize camera stacks for automotive infotainment systems.
• Implement and maintain Camera HAL interfaces and Android camera integration.
• Ensure efficient multithreading, memory usage, and performance tuning.
• Write unit tests using Google Test and maintain build scripts with CMake/Makefiles.
