Job summary

Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Bangalore seeks a Camera Specialist to develop and integrate automotive camera software for ADAS and surround‑view systems. You will work across Android/Linux/QNX, embedded platforms and real‑time image processing to deliver advanced camera features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Technology is required.
• Experience in automotive camera software development is essential.
• Strong cross‑platform knowledge across Android/Linux/QNX is required.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Camera Specialist.

This position is based at our office in Bangalore.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate automotive camera software for ADAS, Park Assist, RPAS, FPAS, and surround-view systems.
• Work across Android/Linux/QNX platforms, embedded systems, camera stack, and real-time image processing.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience in Android Framework, Native development, AOSP, HIDL, AIDL, HAL, and VHAL.
• Knowledge of Linux/Android/QNX OS layers, Android boot sequence, and framework architecture.
• Experience with camera image processing, OpenCV/FastCV, feature detection, object detection, camera calibration, lens distortion correction, image enhancement, DID/RID, and dynamic guidelines.
• Knowledge of CAN, IPC, ECU communication, OpenGL, Git, Jira, Agile, and ALM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define HLD, system interactions, software components, and quality attributes.
• Implement and optimize camera features.
• Define acceptance test cases and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and guide teams.
