Job summary

L7Commerce in India is seeking an experienced OMS and microservices specialist to join our engineering team. You will work with Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Ecommerce OMS, and Sterling OMS, building scalable Java Spring Boot microservices in cloud-native environments.

Candidates should have strong API, cloud, and CI/CD expertise, plus hands-on experience with Redis, NoSQL/SQL databases, and Agile methods using JIRA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of OMS experience.
• 4+ years of Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Ecommerce OMS, or Sterling OMS experience.
• Hands-on experience in developing enterprise microservices applications using Java Spring Boot.
• Experience with at least one cloud service (AWS/Azure/GCP). AWS knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of API Gateways, Serverless Functions, and message brokers (Event Bus, EventBridge, Kafka, Kinesis).
• Strong API knowledge (REST, JSON, GraphQL, Swagger).
• Experience with API integrations and third-party services (payments, fraud checks, tax).
• CI/CD and modern web technologies familiarity.
• In-memory/distributed caching (EhCache, Redis).
• NoSQL/SQL databases (Cosmos, Mongo, Dynamo, MySQL, Oracle).
• Retail domain knowledge.
• Agile methodologies and JIRA proficiency.
• Cloud-native environments experience.

Job description

Minimum Experience

Minimum 6 years of OMS experience.

Required Skill Sets

• 4+ years of Blue Yonder/Manhattan Active Omni/Fluent Ecommerce OMS/Sterling OMS experience is a must.
• Good hands on experience in developing enterprise microservices applications. Java Springboot is preferred.
• Good hands on experience in at least one of the Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP). AWS knowledge will have weightage.
• Microservices programming will be an added advantage.
• Should be aware of general cloud services such as API Gateways, Serverless Functions, Message Broker services like Event Bus, Event Bridge, Kafka, Kinesis.
• Good knowledge of API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, GraphQL and Swagger.
• Knowledge of integrations via APIs and third‑party systems (Payment gateway, Fraud check, Address Validations, Tax services, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of latest web technologies and CI/CD concepts.
• Good knowledge of in‑memory/distributed caching mechanisms like Spring/EhCache or Redis.
• Good to have knowledge of NoSQL/SQL databases such as Cosmos, Mongo, Dynamo, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
• Sound Retail domain knowledge.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and JIRA.
• Good knowledge working in cloud native environments.
