Job summary

North Nile Consultancy Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Project Procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities for Green Field Oil & Gas projects. You will handle RFQs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and purchase orders, while coordinating with engineering, construction, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Procurement in Green Field oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract management, vendor negotiations and project procurement.
• Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP / EPICOR .

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical bulk materials (pipes, fittings, flanges, valves) for Green Field Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, conduct commercial negotiations and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering project, construction, and logistics teams for material availability.
• Develop and manage suppliers' relationships, monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage end - to - end procurement of mechanical bulk materials such as pipes, fittings, flanges, valves etc. for Green Field Oil & Gas projects.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, conduct commercial negotiations and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering project, construction, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Develop and manage suppliers' relationships, monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contract terms and project specifications.
• Support vendor development, cost optimization and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Maintain procurement record, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Procurement in Green Field projects with Oil and Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract management, vendor negotiations and project procurement.
• Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP / EPICOR .
