ESP Engineered in Chennai is looking for a Factory/Yard/Port DQE Inspector for quality control in blade manufacturing. This full-time position requires overseeing supplier quality and final inspection processes to meet customer standards. You will manage quality control, identify failures, and participate in audits. Ideal candidates will possess experience in rotor blade manufacturing and inspection. This role ensures quality from raw material to final product and requires effective communication of issues to management.

• Identify and resolve blade field failures causes and take action to overcome during manufacturing.
• Understand rotor blade flaw detection and repair process from pre-molding to final product finishing.
• Manage blade QC to meet organization requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Supplier Quality Control of Blade Manufacturing and Blades Final inspection aligned with QAP/ITP/Customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve blade field failures causes and take action to overcome during manufacturing.
• Understand rotor blade flaw detection and repair process from pre-molding, molding, demolding to final product finishing.
• Blades site or field QC and inspection support experience will add advantages.
• Blade RM understanding and related inspection also will advantage.
• Wind rotor blade manufacturing in-process and finish blade quality inspection and product/process audit experience is added advantage.
• Work at blade manufacturing site/factory as resident quality management and supervise to ensure R2P quality control (raw material – to – final product).
• Manage blade QC to meet organization requirements.
• Participate in product, process, system audit at supplier side according to yearly plan and during the new supplier introduction.
• Report daily and weekly basis work progress and main defects/issues to line supervisor and category DQE lead.
