About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, analyzing data and processes, identifying business opportunities, and providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work closely with business teams, management, operations, technology, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Requirement Analysis
   • Understand business objectives, processes, challenges, and requirements from various stakeholders.
   • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
   • Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and actionable deliverables.
   • Identify gaps between current processes and desired business outcomes.
   • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flows, and requirement specifications where required.
   • Conduct requirement-gathering meetings and stakeholder discussions.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting
   • Collect, analyze, and interpret business and operational data.
   • Identify trends, patterns, gaps, risks, and opportunities from available data.
   • Develop and maintain business reports, dashboards, and MIS.
   • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management.
   • Track and analyze key business performance indicators and KPIs.
   • Convert complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
   • Support management with data-driven decision-making.
3. Process Improvement
   • Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
   • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication of work, and operational gaps.
   • Recommend process optimization and automation opportunities.
   • Work with relevant teams to implement process improvements.
   • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and measure business impact.
   • Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs, and documentation when required.
4. Stakeholder Management
   • Work closely with business teams, operations, finance, sales, technology, and senior management.
   • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical/functional teams.
   • Clearly communicate business requirements, findings, and recommendations.
   • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure requirements are properly understood.
   • Participate in meetings, workshops, reviews, and project discussions.
5. Business Performance & KPI Analysis
   • Define and monitor business KPIs in coordination with management.
   • Analyze performance against targets and historical trends.
   • Identify reasons for performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
   • Prepare management dashboards and performance summaries.
   • Provide actionable insights to improve productivity, revenue, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
6. Project & Change Management Support
   • Support business and technology projects from requirement gathering through implementation.
   • Assist in project planning, documentation, testing, and implementation.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
   • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
   • Identify and report issues, gaps, and deviations during project implementation.
   • Support change management and post-implementation reviews.
7. Documention
   • Maintain accurate documentation of business requirements and processes.
   • Prepare meeting minutes, requirement documents, process flows, reports, dashboards, and analytical presentations.
   • Ensure business documentation remains updated as processes change.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Process Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts, formulas, and data analysis. Experience with Power BI/Tableau or other BI tools will be an advantage. Strong understanding of business processes and KPI analysis. Good understanding of requirement gathering and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to convert business problems into practical and data-driven solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
