Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Pune seeks a senior PODL to lead all squads of Platform Services, driving enhancements and fixes across Finacle, document management, IVR, robotics and related apps. You will guide product owners and ensure timely delivery of changes.

You’ll coordinate with Infosys and technology teams, manage incidents RCA, and support new products while promoting responsible AI use and data ethics.

• Understanding of regulatory environments (KYC, AML, MiFID II, Basel III).

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern changes across all platform squads as PODL.
• Drive changes and fixes for Finacle core application as Product Owner.
• Ensure stability via root cause analysis for incidents.
• Coordinate with satellite systems and interfaces for changes.
• Assess PSP patches and their impact before testing and deployment.
• Support and implement new products as required by business.
• Collaborate with Infosys on product gaps and resolutions.
• Work with Technology teams on upgrades and implementations.
• Address SII and audit observations with teams.
• Provide periodic MIS updates to senior management.
• Monitor results vs defined objectives for the team.
• Own applications parameters, activities, DR, and audits.

The PODL is senior role responsible for leading all squads of platform services. Each squad will implement all enhancements and production fixes for Finacle, Document management, IVR, Robotics, Debit card management and all such satellite applications. The PODL is also responsible for guiding other Product owners of the Platform Services Tribe in the review and analysis of requirements and functional specifications to ensure quality and timely delivery of all changes.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and govern changes across all squads of platform services as a PODL
• Lead the changes and the fixes for the Finacle core application as a PO
• Ensure the stability of the application by ensuring the RCA for every incident.
• Co-ordinate with satellites systems and interfaces application for all changes and requirements.
• Ensure the stability of the application by understanding the PSP patches and its impacts before testing and deployment.
• Support and implement new products as required by Business.
• Closely work with Infosys teams for identified product gaps at product set-up level or work flow levels & close it as per requirement.
• Closely work with Technology teams for the technical upgrades and its implementation.
• Work closely with teams to implement and close SII and audit observations.
• Periodic MIS presentation for the senior management at regular intervals
• Monitoring of results vs key objectives defined for the team
• Application ownership for all parameters, activities, DR, supporting internal and external audits

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of extensive and proven experience in leading business analysis, process improvement, complex change management, or senior consulting roles within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and extensive experience in spearheading and delivering multiple large-scale, complex business transformation programs or portfolios, with a clear track record of significant, measurable business impact.
• Solid understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory environments (e.g., KYC, AML, MiFID II, Basel III).
• Experience working across divisions and infrastructure functions, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to represent resilience topics at executive and board-level forums.
• People management: performance management, career development, training plans for team members.
• Business-fluent English (written and spoken). Business-fluent German (written and spoken) is a plus.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
