In this role, you will capture and document business requirements, refine them into actionable items, and ensure compliance with Oracle best practices. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis and strong analytical skills. This position is remote for candidates in India and involves a contract of initially 6 months.

Overview

Business System Analyst - 5 to 10 years - Bengaluru

Experience Required – 5-7 Years

Location: Remote, India

End Date: 6 Months Initially

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, prioritize, and document business requirements for Oracle OTM, DHL integrations (shipments, costs, EDI, reporting/analytics).
• Refine requirements into actionable technical items.
• Translate requirements into feature requests, align with best practices, evaluate alternatives, and collaborate with business/technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle best practices.
• Support preparation and execution of UAT.
• Ensure timely project progress, raise risks/issues as needed.
• Identify when deviations from standards are required and facilitate decisions through governance.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years as IT Business Analyst.
• Experience in ERP deployments, especially in Supply Chain Execution domain.
• Requirements engineering experience (certification like IREB preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process modeling (UML, Use Cases, BPMN).
• Microsoft tools expertise: Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, SharePoint.
• Independent worker, needs guidance only in complex cases.
• Strong facilitation skills (in-person and virtual).
