As the Business Research Lead, you will be responsible for driving the research strategy and overseeing the execution of business research initiatives within our organization. Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the overarching research strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, identifying key research priorities, methodologies, and performance metrics to drive impactful outcomes.
- Lead and mentor a team of business researchers, providing guidance on research methodologies, project execution, and professional development, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on delivering high-quality research outputs.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of research projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards, coordinating cross-functional collaboration and resource allocation as needed.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to understand research needs, priorities, and strategic objectives; communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to drive informed decision-making.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in business research methodologies; evaluate and implement new tools, techniques, and approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of research processes.
- Oversee the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations, ensuring rigorous analysis techniques are applied to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, efficiency, and impact of business research activities; solicit feedback from stakeholders and team members to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements accordingly.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business research, strategic analysis, or consulting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of leading and managing research teams to deliver impactful insights and recommendations.
- Deep expertise in a wide range of business research methodologies, including quantitative analysis, qualitative research, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey research findings to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
