Job summary

Samsara Group in Mumbai seeks a Graduate or Post Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in business process management, digital transformation, IT operations in Shipping Agency/Logistics. The role focuses on mapping processes, enabling automation with RPA and AI, and optimizing end-to-end workflows.

The candidate will prepare SOPs, analyze processes for inefficiencies, ensure ISO compliance, and train users on new systems while coordinating with IT and business units.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate with 5-8 years of professional experience in business process management, digital transformation, IT operations in Shipping Agency/Logistics.
• Must have strong knowledge of process mapping tools and automation platforms.
• Should be data-driven, tech-savvy and capable of designing and implementing processes and optimizing end-to-end workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SOPs and process manuals for new and existing business.
• Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance by reviewing records, reports, and practices; monitor ISO-related activities and audits.
• Identify risks, determine controls, and drive prevention actions.
• Explore automation using workflow tools, RPA, and AI; evaluate new technologies for adoption.
• Act as liaison between business units and IT/development teams; train users on new systems.

Job description

Candidate should be Graduate/Post Graduate with 5-8 years of professional experience in business process management, digital transformation, IT operations in Shipping Agency / Logistics industry.

Strong working knowledge of process mapping tools and automation platforms

Should be data-driven, tech-savvy and skilled in designing and implementing processes and optimizing end-to-end operational workflows.

Job responsibilities include:

• Preparing SOPs / process manuals of new business and updating existing SOPs.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implementing solutions in close coordination with various teams across the organization.
• Monitoring compliance to laid processes by examining and analysing records, reports, operating practices and documentation.
• Analyse Risk and determine control in the existing process.
• Discover opportunities for automation using workflow tools, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and AI capabilities.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging automation software and AI technologies.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT/development teams.
• Conduct training sessions and create enablement materials to drive user adoption of new systems
• Training / guiding users on different processes / systems.
• Handling ISO related activities –creating/maintaining documents as per ISO standards and conducting internal audits, coordinating external audits.
• Analysing customer complaints, internal staff errors to identify the Root cause and working on preventive actions.

Excellent Communication both Oral and Written are a prerequisite for the position.

Candidates with certifications in Project Management, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt, ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor who are up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business process reengineering methodologies, experience implementing AI agents or customized workflow automation will be preferred.
