Job summary

Marsh is seeking a seasoned Business Architect to join the Innovation & Data Organization in Mumbai. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and focuses on transforming operating models and processes across the organization.

You will partner with leaders across data, technology, and change management to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that reduce friction and drive measurable business value. Strong communication and executive engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in business architecture, process improvement, transformation, or enterprise design.
• Experience designing or improving operating models in a complex organization.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into data-enabled, technology-supported solutions.
• Experience working across business, operations, data, and technology stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
• Experience with automation, AI-enabled solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, systems design, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or a consulting environment is highly valued.

• Influence senior stakeholders with clear, evidence-based recommendations and practical implementation pathways.
• Support change adoption so that new processes, tools, and operating models are embraced and sustained.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Innovation & Data Organization (IDO) team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai, India. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

The Business Operations & Architecture Lead sits within the IDO team and plays a critical role in helping Marsh businesses modernize how work gets done. This role partners with business leaders on demand to identify opportunities to improve operating models, simplify processes, enable data ingestion, and scale automation and AI-driven ways of working.

As a trusted business architect and transformation partner, you will help translate strategic priorities into practical, scalable solutions that improve performance, reduce friction, and create measurable business value.
