Deutsche Bank in Mumbai is seeking a Business Management Analyst to join the Performance Management desk. The role supports forecasting, cost and FTE management, and planning cycles across regional and global teams, reporting into the India Mumbai line and global COO teams.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate finance background with 6+ years FP&A experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a data-analytic mindset to drive insights and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of exposure in Financial Planning & Analysis, especially in FTE & Cost management.
• Aptitude for analytical tasks and ability to pull out the key messages.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience in data analytics will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong communication skills with excellent English, both orally and written.
• Good knowledge of the financial sector; ability to handle conflicting demands.
• Attention to detail, self-motivated and solution driven.
• Team player who is eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Business Performance (Revenue, Cost & FTE) forecast documents for forecast calls including coordination, review of financials, comments and uploads.
• Support Cost & FTE management including maintenance of hiring pipeline and other FTE activities.
• Assist planning rounds and align with global planning teams.
• Upload planning figures in the system and maintain figures during the year.
• Provide monthly Revenue, Cost and FTE forecast loads and MoM commentary.
• Generate deep dives and comments for ExCo / Monthly Review meetings.
• Support projects on performance management (cost drivers, KPI steering, scenario analysis).
• Projects may have a global focus or a local Mumbai scope.

Your Key Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Preparation of Business Performance (including Revenue Cost & FTE) forecast documents for Forecast calls: Coordination, review financials, comments & uploads. Also perform Business performance Deep dives Analysis.
• Support Cost & FTE Management, which includes maintenance of hiring pipeline & other FTE housekeeping activities.
• Support various planning rounds incl. adjustments of planning scenarios, alignment with global planning team.
• Upload planning figures in the system, maintenance of planning figures during the year (adjustments).
• Monthly Revenue, cost and FTE forecast loads in the system, preparing commentary for explaining MoM variations.
• Revenue, FTE & Cost Deep dives and providing Commentaries on ExCo / Monthly Review Meetings.
• Support / run specific Performance Management related projects (e.g. cost driver analysis, new KPI steering approach, scenario analysis, etc.)
• Project can be with specific focus or could have global background.

Your Skills And Experience

• Post graduate in Finance/ CA/ CPA
• 6+ years of exposure in Financial Planning & Analysis especially in FTE & Cost management
• Aptitude for analytical tasks and ability to pull out the key messages.
