Job summary

HyTechPro is seeking a Senior BI Consultant to own the BI function for enterprise-scale transformation. The role leads BI strategy, governance, architecture, and roadmap during Discovery, then builds and mentors a BI team to implement the roadmap.

Candidate will manage stakeholder workshops, ensure data governance and security, and present findings to senior leadership, with frequent travel to Egypt as noted. Minimum 8–12 years in BI/Analytics.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, or Analytics.
• Proven experience in owning BI strategy and leading BI teams.
• Strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure Data Platform (Data Lake, Synapse/Databricks, Data Factory, Purview).
• Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, governance).
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise BI architectures and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks (GDPR/FERPA preferred).
• Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Domain knowledge in education or similar enterprise environments (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).

• Post-Discovery: build, mentor, and lead a BI team (data engineers, analysts, visualization experts) to deliver the BI roadmap.
• Establish ongoing BI governance, best practices, and standards.

Job Overview:

HyTechPro is looking for a Senior BI Consultant who will take complete ownership of the Business Intelligence (BI) function for enterprise-scale transformation initiatives. This individual will act as the BI Owner during the Discovery Phase, responsible for defining strategy, governance, architecture, and roadmap.

Following Discovery, this role will expand into a leadership position with responsibility for building and leading a BI team to implement and operationalize the roadmap.
