Job summary

Antal International in Mumbai seeks a dynamic Business Head to build and lead a new Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients vertical from the ground up. You will shape strategy, forge partnerships with global ingredient suppliers, and drive revenue growth and profitability.

The role requires 10+ years in the industry, a strong network, and experience in launching new product lines. This leadership position offers significant autonomy and a path to scalable growth within a global recruitment

Experience: 10+ years in the Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients industry

Are you an entrepreneurial leader with a strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, supplier partnerships, and business development? Here’s an exciting opportunity to build and lead a new business vertical from the ground up!

We are looking for a dynamic Business Head to drive business strategy, establish strategic supplier partnerships, expand the customer base, and build a profitable and scalable business in the Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the business strategy for the Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients division.
• Identify growth opportunities, new product categories, and potential market segments.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with global ingredient manufacturers and suppliers.
• Drive business development, key account management, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Develop relationships with manufacturers across skincare, haircare, colour cosmetics, toiletries, and home care.
• Lead technical discussions, product positioning, commercial negotiations, and customer presentations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing sales and technical team.
• Oversee pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, and overall business performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in the Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients industry.
• Proven expertise in business development, key account management, or business leadership.
• Strong network of cosmetic manufacturers and global ingredient suppliers.
• Experience in launching new product lines or building new business verticals.
• Sound understanding of cosmetic formulations, ingredient applications, and market trends.
• Excellent commercial, strategic planning, negotiation, and people management skills.
• A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field. An MBA would be an added advantage.
