Job Summary:

Pride of India is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive international sales growth through both online and offline channels. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate leads, build strong client relationships, and expand our global market presence. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire export process while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Candidates without experience in FMCG or consumer goods should NOT apply. Additionally, experience in both modern and traditional trade is required. If you do not have this experience, please do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement export sales strategies to expand international markets through both online and offline channels.
  2. Identify and generate new leads for international sales via e-commerce platforms, B2B marketplaces, trade fairs, and direct outreach.
  3. Establish and nurture relationships with global distributors, importers, and key stakeholders.
  4. Manage the entire export process, including documentation, logistics, and compliance with international trade laws.
  5. Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  6. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in global markets.
  7. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international clients.
  8. Ensure compliance with export laws, tariffs, and customs regulations.
  9. Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing reports for senior management.
  10. Resolve customer queries and provide exceptional client service to international partners.
  11. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and business networking events to promote the company's products.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in export management, with a strong focus on sales through both online and offline channels.
  3. Experience in both modern and traditional trade is mandatory. If you do not have this experience, do not apply.
  4. FMCG or consumer goods experience is required. If you do not have experience in these industries, do not apply.
  5. Proven track record of lead generation and driving international sales growth.
  6. In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, documentation, and export compliance.
  7. Strong network of global buyers, distributors, and trade partners.
  8. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and develop international business opportunities.
  10. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and export documentation tools.
  11. Fluency in English (additional foreign language skills are a plus).
  12. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
