Job summary

Aerem is seeking a Business Data & Planning Lead to own central data and planning across end-client D2C projects. You will ensure right price, right inventory, and optimal supply planning daily.

You will lead pricing strategy, indent and inventory planning, MIS cadence, and analytics automation using AI tools to make the data function faster and smarter. Collaborate with operations and commercial teams, translate data into actionable insights on margins and performance, and build a single source

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Business Data Analytics or Commercial Operations.
• Strong data-to-margin awareness and commercial acumen.
• Experience with end-client D2C projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and BI tools.

Job description

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially sharp Business Data & Planning Lead to own our central business data and planning function across end-client D2C projects.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure that we have the right price, right inventory and right supply planning every day.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Pricing Strategy

• Own daily pricing across all products, brands, quantities, and operational teams.
• Analyze market prices, purchase costs, gross margins, and real-time sales data.
• Ensure all pricing decisions are data-driven, competitive, and commercially sound.

2. Indent & Inventory Planning

• Lead centralized indent planning across multiple warehouse locations.
• Plan inventory requirements based on demand, sales velocity, and current stock levels to eliminate shortages while preventing overstocking.
• Build and standardize a systematic replenishment framework.

3. Business MIS & Performance Cadence

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly business MIS, establishing a single source of truth for all business data.
• Run the weekly business performance cadence and generate targeted performance reports across teams.

4. Analytics & Process Automation

• Analyze sales, margins, inventory turnover, and commercial performance to solve operational bottlenecks.
• Automate repetitive reporting and analytical workflows.
• Leverage modern AI tools and frameworks to make the central data function faster, smarter, and scalable.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Business Data Analytics, Inventory Planning, or Commercial Operations (preferably with direct exposure to end-client D2C projects).
• Analytical Capability: Advanced command over data tools (Excel, SQL, or modern BI software).
• Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to connect operational data to business margins and financial outcomes.
• AI-First Mindset: Proactive about using modern AI and automation tools to optimize daily reporting.
