Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a hands-on Video Editor to support our in-house creative team in Pune, delivering corporate, social, and event content. You will edit raw footage, apply transitions and basic motion graphics using Premiere Pro and After Effects, sync audio, color correct, and export to platform specs while collaborating with senior editors to realize brand storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro; basic to intermediate After Effects.
  • Understanding of aspect ratios, resolution, and export settings for different platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're looking for a Video Editor to support our in-house creative team in producing corporate, social, and event video content. This is a hands‑on execution role suited to an editor with solid technical fundamentals who is ready to work on a steady flow of varied projects under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos for branding, social media, and event coverage, following creative briefs and storyboards provided by senior editors or the creative lead
  • Add transitions, basic motion graphics, lower thirds, and text overlays using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Sync audio, perform basic color correction, and ensure consistent audio levels across cuts
  • Format and export videos to platform‑specific specifications (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, internal portals)
  • Organize and maintain the video asset library, including raw footage, project files, graphics, and music/sound assets
  • Incorporate feedback from senior editors and stakeholders across multiple revision rounds
  • Stay current with editing techniques and short‑form video trends relevant to corporate and social content
  • Utilize graphic design skills to produce visuals that align with our brand’s aesthetic and messaging.
  • Capable of playing an active role in brainstorming and idea generation with senior members of the creative department to conceptualize world‑class, innovative ideas that deliver successful solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–4 years of professional video editing experience, ideally including corporate, marketing, or social media content
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; basic to intermediate After Effects skills
  • Understanding of aspect ratios, resolution, and export settings for different platforms
  • Color correction and audio sync/mixing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • A portfolio or reel demonstrating range across formats (short‑form, event, corporate)
Good to Have
  • Exposure to DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
  • Basic motion graphics or 2D animation skills
