HCLTech is seeking a Business Analyst specialized in Temenos Transact Core Banking (T24) for our Chennai team. The role focuses on bridging business needs with technology, documenting BRD/FSD, data mapping, and supporting migrations and reporting.

Respondents bring 4–10 years of IT BA experience in Private Banking, with strong Agile (Scrum/Kanban) skills and stakeholder management to drive timely, quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of IT business analysis in Transact/T24 Core Banking with Private Banking domain.
• Experience across modules such as Securities, Cash Accounts, Corporate Actions, Payments and Fees & Tax.
• Strong SDLC and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) exposure with PLW facilitation and BRD/FSD documentation.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business needs with technology solutions in core banking projects.
• Lead requirement analysis, system enhancement and solution design for core banking projects.
• Document data mapping, migration, reporting and user guides; maintain change logs.
• Collaborate with business users, internal teams and vendors through delivery and production releases.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

• Key skills: Analytical & Problem-Solving, Project Management, Communication & Collaboration
• Responsible for bridging the gap between the business needs and technology solutions within the core banking domain and its interacting applications
• Conduct/support PLW (process led workshops), document business requirements (BRD), functional specification (FSD) including data mapping, migration, reporting and user guide
• Propose innovative solution which is scalable and avoiding any addition of risk (operational risk or delivery risk)
• Lead and co-ordinate the requirement analysis, system enhancement and solution design for core banking projects
• Act as a liaison between business users, internal teams and vendors on project management, development, testing, migration, user training and production releases
• Strong expertise in Temenos Transact Core Banking with Private Banking domain knowledge
• Working experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban
• Stakeholder management to ensure no ambiguity on requirements and impact analysis
• Diligently document change log, provide project status and escalat to project leads
• Support the end-to-end implementation of system changes, ensuring timely delivery and quality
• Ensure system solution align with business needs and regulatory requirements

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

• Minimum 12 15 years of IT business analysis focussed on Transact/T24 Core Banking with Private Banking domain.
• Preferred with most of the experience in handling one more modules: Securities (e.g. Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds), Cash Account and deposits (AA, AC, MM, FD), Corporate Actions (lifecycle and events), Payments (TPH), Fees & Tax (cross modules for Private Banking), EOX (Accounting, EOD/M/Q/Y job analysis and design), Credit Products (e.g. Mortgage, Lombard Loans, Structured Finance, Guarantees including AA module), Derivatives (e.g. Options, Structured Products).
• Have a good understanding of products offered in the Private Banking with Transact modules exposure (AA, MD, SC, DX, SY etc).
• Experienced in driving PLWs and able to advise new processes for new applications, preferably with Implementation experience.
• Working experience of SDLC and Agile methodologies like SCRUM and KANBAN.
