Title and Summary

The Business Analyst, MyMPA, will be part of GBSC’s Automation & Engineering Team, responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end workflows that generate datasets crucial for reporting and analytics projects.

This role will work closely with the VP of Analytics & Metrics and Director of FP&A to gather requirements for new datasets, supporting the evolution of reporting needs and contributing to our reporting platform's success as Mastercard expands.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on development skills and the ability to analyze end-user requirements, working both independently and collaboratively across functions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Experience with Hyperion/Essbase (ASO/BSO) is required.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction from Data Warehouse and relational databases.
• Experience with Alteryx for data transformations and business rules is a plus.
• Use Alteryx to build validations ensuring data quality and confidence.
• Utilize MS Excel and PowerPoint to document findings and present insights clearly.
• Engage with customers to discuss data quality issues and business rules.
• Collaborate with Essbase developers to align data structures.
• Assist in testing data loads and perform sanity checks.
• Partner during UAT to resolve data/application issues.
• Handle deep data analysis and process flow troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Operations and Technology teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Strong skills in metadata management, data transformation, and reporting are essential, preferably with FP&A experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, and advanced MS Excel.
• Project management experience.
