Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Business Analyst – Global Project Management in Chennai to bridge business and technology for multinational projects. You will gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specs, and support UAT, training, and rollout across global units.
Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in manufacturing or industrial domains, with strong experience in SAP or MS 365 integration and a proven ability to engage stakeholders across geographies.
General Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process including Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements. Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.

This is a techno-functional role and will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs,objectives, and challenges.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflowsforprojectmanagement‑relatedapplications.
Support centralized intake of application requests for the Project Management function.
Analyze and compare requirements across units to enable reuse, standardization, or justified local deviations.
Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams, including user story creation.
Validate designsto ensure alignmentwithbusiness requirementsand theyfulfill the future state of the organization.
Facilitaterequirementand clarification workshops.
Define and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution tracking, defect clarification, and quality reporting.
Run training sessions and support application rollout and adoption from a business perspective across operating units.
Conduct business process analysis toidentifyareas for optimization and efficiency enhancement,assistingintheimplementationof improvement initiatives.
Responsibleto ensurecompliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, andguidelines.

Bachelor of Engineering / business administration or equivalent
6 – 8yearsprofessional experience, minimum 4 years in a similar role in Manufacturingor Industrialdomains.
Demonstrated experience with requirementsgathering,solution deploymentandend user engagement.
Experiencewith integration ofvarious tools such asSAP,MS 365,and others.
Experience in developing solutions forProject management,Qualityor Supply chain function.
